wonderful photo! the weathered, flecked wood on the left margin complements the shattered glass. the gray and brown wood - worn and aged - along with the broken glass contrasts nicely with the newer appearing smooth blue interior. also, the blue interior draws out the hues of the shattered glass. terrific!
there is something ominous about the shattered glass in front of the room of which we only see walls. crime scene? and a cheery blue color - ironic in the crime scene context.
oh yes, and the black door frames in the blue room provide a caption for the darkness of a crime scene. one more comment: the scene is framed by the window in a two dimensional crime scene photo manner. but - the shattered glass spills out of the frame bringing the drama and danger closer to the viewer. great photo indeed!
